Hoodoo is excited to offer (for the first time EVER!) the Mountain Cub Program for young snowboarders ages 5 - 7. Level 1 Mountain Cub lessons will be available on snowboard starting December 20th, 2025. Level 2 & 3 will become available in January 2026.

Mtn Cubs Snowboard Progression:

Level 1: First-time riders learning to balance, glide, and stop safely on gentle terrain.

**** Coming January 2026 ****

Level 2: Developing riders learning to control edges, make basic turns on both heel and toe side, and ride the Magic Carpet confidently.

Level 3: Independent chair riders linking turns, managing variable terrain, and preparing to explore more of Hoodoo.

Tip for Snowboarding Cubs:

Snowboarding is all about balance! Learning takes a lot of falling. Remind them that finding balance takes time and every little wobble is part of the fun.
